One of the more satisfying tasks to date was the removal of all the leftover bulky items that were still cluttering the house. Wall cabinets, internal doors, plumbing, plastic chairs and tables, and even a TV antenna that was still on the roof. It took a good couple of hours to pile up everything into one corner (some furniture was still mounted to the wall and needed a combination of standard tools and kung fu to be taken down), and then another hour to load up the skip when it arrived.
Watching that full
skip leave was worth the rusty nail or two I stepped on during the process, but
yes I learned my lesson and from then on I made sure to start wearing the
appropriate attire for my big manly jobs.
